Literature Text

These coruscated roadways
Drove us to a final conniption,
A grandiose facilitation of
The excess you've built of me.

Your world of acquittal
Took me to a phantom chasm,
A place in which I can turn
To the fractured pearl, alabaster of
Your smile or where I can leap eternally
Into an ending that doesn't end,
an ending your gluttony afforded us

Eat, drink, and be merry,
For tomorrow you won't die.
I initially called this Dionysus, but Bacchus's demeanor seemed to fit more aptly.

For a description, I suppose we all use people, and are used...this poem just deals with that decadence...hope you like :)
